Ombre is a soft fade from deeper roots to lighter mid lengths and ends, designed to look natural and grow out gracefully. It is ideal if you want brightness through the ends without the upkeep of a full head of highlights, and it can be adjusted to feel subtle or more noticeable. Your colour is placed with hair condition and everyday styling in mind, so the finish looks smooth, blended and wearable from day one.

What your Ombre appointment includes
Ombre is all about a clean blend and a believable transition. We focus on placement, tone and shine, so the colour looks intentional rather than stripey.
- A consultation to agree your lighter level, warmth or coolness, and where the fade should start
- Sectioning and lightening through the mid lengths and ends to create a gradual lift
- Careful blending at the transition point, so there is no harsh line
- Toning and glossing to refine the shade and keep the ends looking fresh
- A finish that suits your hair texture, so you can see the blend clearly
- Advice on realistic upkeep, including when you are likely to want a refresh
Ombre colour that suits busy diaries and softer regrowth
Ombre works well if you want colour that still looks good weeks later. It keeps depth at the root area and puts the brightness where you notice it most, through the lengths and ends.
It is a good option if you:
- Want lighter hair without committing to regular root colour
- Prefer a lower maintenance look with a softer grow out
- Like the idea of brighter ends, but still want your natural base to show
- Want a change that looks polished for work, weekends, and everything in between
How Ombre is created, from first section to final tone
Your appointment usually takes around 165 to 180 minutes, depending on your starting colour and how light you would like to go.
We start by talking through your hair history, your usual styling, and the finish you like. Lightening is then applied through the mid lengths and ends with careful placement, followed by a toner to refine the shade and balance warmth. We finish with styling that shows the fade clearly and keeps the hair looking smooth and healthy.
Keeping your Ombre looking fresh between visits
Ombre is designed to be easy to live with, but the ends still need a bit of care.
You will leave with guidance on:
- How often to use a toning product, if your shade needs it
- Shampoo and conditioner choices that protect colour and reduce dryness
- Heat styling habits that help keep the ends glossy
- When to book a toner or gloss refresh if the colour starts to look dull
Colour safety and suitability for Ombre
If you have not had hair colour with us before, we may ask you to pop in for a quick patch test ahead of your appointment, just to keep things safe and sensible.
